The S70 is clunking on the passenger side when it hits bumps. The wheel bearing appears good. The struts nad related hjardware were replaced about 40K miles ago so I think the sturts are ok. At the time I borgot to rorder bumpers and they were degraded.

Can the bumper make a clunking noise if it has degraded substancially?

The strut tower rubber spacer looks a little rough. Has anypone just replaced that spacer and had positive results?

 

I ended upi getting the upper rubber spacer. When I went to put it in, I realized that the strut mount is completely gone. I'm hoping I can replace it wothout removing the strut from the vehicle. I can;t remember how much room there was, but I will find out this week.
