Costs of S70 repairs?
I am helping a friend look for a '98 S70. In evaluating each car, it would be good to know the costs of certain repairs to factor into the decision.
The following list contains a few things that might need to be done. I am looking for straight retail prices, as there will be no DIY option available.
timing belt, water pump, etc.
brakes, front & rear
tie rods
control arms
cv boots
If there are other repairs that might be coming up on a car with 100 to 150k miles, I'd appreciate hearing about them.
Thanks.

Timing belt around and water pump around $700 depends where you go. I paid $300 to get my rear brakes done at midas i think. Tie rods and control arms are easy to do but not sure how much. Not sure bout cv boots. When was the last time pcv was replaced do you know? Also spark plugs and wires too. Then transmission fluid flush around $100.

Thanks for the info on the pcv system.
I have seen the post about the repair/replacement of the system. I can hope we're not faced with that soon.
We have looked at a '98 S70 with 83k original miles and it seems very likely that my friend will proceed with the purchase. I have a few more questions to ask, but feel that it would be hard to do better.
I appreciate all of the advice.
