CV BOOT REPLACEMENT
I'm replacing the CV boot on a 1998 Volvo S70 automatic on the passenger side. I replaced the drivers side a couple years ago.
I'm at the point in the Chilton's Manual that says "remove the bearing cap, and pull the shaft out of the transmission". What is a bearing cap and how is it removed since there are no pictures of this in the manual?

How difficult and what would it cost to do this? I was replacing my brakes several hours ago and discovered grease everywhere around the front passenger side. It was the boot, a slit about 1/3 through.
Thanks in Advance
