Default Front End Shakes

1999 Volvo S70 with new tires, new shocks and new rack and pinion develops an very noticeable shaking (severe vibration) around 55, 65 and 75 mph so much so I stay under 55 mph. I didn't take it above 75 mph. It's with my mechanic now but I was hoping for some feedback. Anything particular to Volvo's that would cause this? Thanks.

Nope, nothing in particular. Just like any other car, I would check the air pressure, balance of the wheels, and alignment. That pretty much covers it.

From what I remember? A 55 MPH shake is wheel balance. If you go above it should go away again. Simple fix!
