On the average combining,HW and city,how many mileage should a good running 1998 S70 non turbo,gives you.

 

Kinda wondering the same thing. I am averaging 24MPG Mixed 30% city, 60% Highway, 10% idle...

My car has 210,000 miles and has been well maintianed. I am hoping to hit the EPA 28mpg estimate at some point.

 

24 average is good.
btw TECH help me out tremendously,my car was just misfiring,bad plug and 1 wire.
I am hitting on all cylinders now
just took her on the florida Turnpike for a short drive at 120 MPH.
not a drip,lol.

 

Which part of the Turnpike were you on?

 

Just to throw it out there, I get about 22mpg combined with about 25% highway and an ever so slightly heavy foot.
(Oh yeah, it's a 98 S70 T-5)

 

I would say my driving is about 50/50 between city and highway. So far I've managed an average of 25.3 mpg combined. I do tend to give the turbo a workout every once in a while though
