Hi folks - my 1998 S70, 216,000 miles, is making kind of a strange noise from the front end. It sounds like the noise you can make by blowing across the top of a soda or beer bottle!

The noise doesn't change with vehicle speed. I have a hunch it might be the steering rack, as it seems to be somewhat related to steering input (although still seems somewhat random). Any ideas?

P.S. and when I say it sounds like that bottle noise, I mean *exactly* like that sound! It's like a single pure note of mid frequency... sound seems to be coming from driver side front
