Default Help hotwiring 2000 s70

Hey guys, I lost my keys last night at a bar. I think someone stole them actually. The dealer wants $190 to replace the key, plus I have to pay to have it towed there. I simply cant afford it right now. I was hoping to maybe hotwire it till i can get the money. But i dont know how. Heh i realize some may have ethical issues in telling me how to do such an action, but I am desperate.

DOn't hotwire a modern car, it's too easy to damage one or several ECU's.
Go to the dealer with your VIN and proof of ownership and they should get you a new key.
If you can afford to get so smashed you lose your keys, you can afford new keys.....

GDog, what's up with that??? LOL!!!

I'm with Typhoon, can afford to get smashed but not purchase a key??? LOL

Man, any dealership in the US will overnight you a key if you show proof of ownership and id. Also, someone may have been just as smashed as you were and picked up your keys by mistake, got up the next day and seen them and still cant figure out where they got them. Just order a new key and don't worry about it. If they wanted the car it would have been gone before you knew it. Besides, most people wont get caught dead in a Volvo because they just don't know any better.
