Hood rattle
Hello all,
I have a question regarding a rattling noise from the hood of a 1998 S70 GLT. It seems to me that the hood jumps up and down ever so slightly when on the highway or going over a bumpy road.
It seems that the mechanism which holds the hood has some rubber spacers which keep it in place. These have worn away and there is now some play between the clasp and the part of the hood which sits inside.
Is there a simple fix for this, rather than buying all new hardware for the hood?
