1998 S70 : had a loud vibration jarring from front left while braking. Changed the rotors and pads. And the hose for Left and right. The sound persists. It only starts when the car has warmed up a bit. Very loud sound and the mechanic wants to change the master cylinder. Could it be the spring calipers/ABS ??
Please help....

 

oops, you posted this in the 240/740/940 forum. a 98 S70 is a completely different vehicle.

I hate to second guess someone who is actually able to feel the problem but it would seem the master cylinder would be low on the list. The master provides pressure to all four calipers and having a problem with just the front left I would think it's something with only the front left's components. Sticky caliper, control arm bushings letting it shift as you're braking ??
