Default IPD ECU Upgrade

Looking to do a ECU upgrade to my S70 T5 in a few months here. IPD seems like they know what they are doing. Does anyone have any experience with the the ECU flashes or any other IPD products for that matter?? Also is it worth spending the extra cash for IPD products vs. other vendors?? New to Volvos and any inf helps, Thanx in advance...

iPd is one of the best from my experience. They have been in the Volvo game for quite a while. You shouldn't have any issues with them.

If you want to read a little about other ECU upgrades, try to search "ECU" and you should come up with a few threads to read.

ARD tunes (Lucky, who used to work at IPD) makes some super tunes and he's cheaper than IPD
Google ARD ECU flashes or tunes.

Never mind...here:

Interesting and do the ARD tunes work in the same way as the IPD tunes? Core swap etc??

The Green remap (16psi) is what I have, absolutely brings out the potential of this car..

vid below: 850 T5 0-60 - YouTube

Had it since mid august, surprises me everytime and gas mileage is better.

Do tint, then tune. Leave the stock airbox, get a k&n panel filter.

Exhaust is not necessary unless you do sustainable 150+mph runs...backpressure is better than you think.

If you just got the car, do the timing and serpentine belts first, complete a full stage 0 BEFORE any mods.
