but running rich for a split second wont really have any affect, since its low psi setup. "Worsens with higher boost pressure", just want to make sure that if I do do this, it not putting even mroe stress ont eh car than not having one is.
Upgrading your car with anything engine wise is putting more stress on the car. But running RICH for that split second wont be too too bad of a problem.

Ok cool.

This is why I said a shop needs to install your BOV. Unless you do the SAMCO route.

Yeah they can use the same turn signal bulbs.

Are you picking up the ABM Chrome Projector style turn signals like I have now or the E-codes?

the ABM projector style, I like them better than the e- codes. Mainly because they look more after market than e-codes.

1. Where are you buying them from?

2. Fair warning. They do not come with the actual bulb holder. You have to take the bulb holder from the OEM turn signals and use it in the ABM's. Also you have to modify the turn signals just slightly to allow the OEM bulb holder to fit properly. By filing one of the slots just slightly. Now that they have been on for a few months I forget which slot it was but you can figure it out.

Hopefully your going to get the matching headlights then as well like mine.

yeah I will, eventually. The turn singals are the last thing on my list atm. looking at air filters, ecu, and other engine components first.
Ebay, if I where to buy them would be where I get them.

Good luck just finding the turn signals on EBAY. They are all sold in kits. Unless you can get AutoLampsPlus to sell them seperately. However the turn signals from AutoLampsPlus on EBAY are exactly like mine except they have the orange reflector in them instead of the grey reflector like mine do.

DTMwerks is where you want to purcahse them from.

Comparrison

AutoLampsPlus (Ebay):

Where from EBAY?

Yeah AutoLampsPlus is an EBAY seller. But they have the orange reflector in them instead of the grey or black reflector.

Just go out and install it now. Not hard. Also to find the 12v source use the headlight switch on the left hand side of the steering wheel. Find the 12v line in there and tap into it for power. Then run the vaccum PVC line out into the engine and hook it up.

not quite as simple, to start I need to find the following wire to connect into:
2 x engine ground
2 x 12v (+)
Then I need to connec the green wire to the white wire form the boost sensor.
Also I cannot get the pvc line on the barbs I try and try but they just wont go on. I also dont know how to get into the dash or get out into the engine.

Then send your boost gauge back and get a real one. Too much trouble it seems.

well its not that much harder, basically I figure I will do what I can and have the volvo people hook up the wires. basically the parts I am stuck on are:
getting to the engine
getting into the dash

Don't take it to a Volvo dealership more then likely they wont help you out. Most dealerships are not mod friendly. I know mine isn't. Take it to a performance shop around the area.

Also to get at that firewall pass through just get down underneath your steering wheel. There will be a panel that can be let down. There are three star head screws holding it in place. Take those screws out and let the panel drop. Then you should be able to find the firewall pass through I showed you. And I am not talking about the under side of the steering wheel either.

ok, back lets see, so looks like trmw I will attempting to install it, if I fail it goes into teh shop. Dont worry, iw ould never take it to a volvo dealer, although the shop is charging me $90 a hour, how muhc more could a dealer be. But anyways, we dont ahve teh performnce shops that actaully install, the ones that do wont touch my volvo. I was wondering, if its 7 psi max, how much do these things ahve to be sealed? for example, the barbs and the pvc hose seem to be extreamly hard to get on (good seal, if I can get it on) The vacuum tip I have I found taht I could stick teh hose in one side and the barb in teh other, its a pretty tight seal, but not as tight as sticking the pvc on the hose directly. So would you say that 7 psi is a great amount of pressure. I can get the pvc on the barbs, but its gonna take awhile.
