Default Loosing Coolant, No Leak

Got a 2000 S70 GLT SE. It has been going through coolant, but there appears to be no leak and the oil and transmission fluid look okay. I have gotten a slight antifreeze smell from time to time but I have not noticed a wet floor to indicate a heater core leak.

My mechanic thinks the turbo has a very small crack and this is causing the mysterious coolant loss. Is this possible or likely in this scenario and if so, can I keep driving like this and just replacing the coolant without damaging the car any further. Thanks

I had coolant loss on my 850 and also smelled coolant. Come to find out my radiator had a small pin hair crack and it was leaking and evaporating thus not leaving evidence. I have also seen rubber coolant hoses leak just enough to not leave a trace. I would star with those 2. Also a heater core can go bad and not leak right away
