Default MAP sensor questions

98 S70 GLT 115k miles

OBD returns code for Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric pressure low input.

I'm told that the MAP sensor most likely failed and needs to be replaced.

Is this an item that is only available thru the Volvo dealer?

If there are any other cheaper sources for OEM parts like this, can someone point the way?

How hard is it to replace?

Thanks.

Default RE: MAP sensor questions

It is easy to replace. Most auto parts stores sell them.
