MINT BLK S70 '99 with rattling, cracking dash
My Car is wonderful Engine purrs like a kitten. Paint job is as shiny as day one. Some cracking on leather seats...BUT...my dash is loose and makes LOUD cracking noise when I drive on bumpy roads. I was told the whole dash needs replacement and I can see cracks near the window. I heard it was a mounting fault...bad brackets. So, with a car that is worth only $1700 how can I put in a new dash for $2400? Isn't there a better way? Can Volvo help me do you think?
