Default Modding the T-5 for Performance.. Worth it?

the answer is obvious. YES of course. but i have an issue. my brick has a little under 237,000 miles on it. as i posted in my other thread, i am modding for aesthetics right now with a few performance mods such as a panel filter and an exhaust system already installed.

so... is it worth putting money into the engine, or just physical mods that can be taken off if and when my ride kicks the bucket? it's a 98 5 speed with no major issues. doesn't burn or leak mass amounts of oil, shifts like it should, and still blows away ricers.

i'm just concerned that i won't be able to find another 98 T-5m in decent shape later on.

Up to you. Do you think your car can handle the added pressure you'll be putting on it with engine mods?

Go for it, just make mods based on how well the car has been taken care of over the years. Just make sure the little things are rock solid before going all out for sure...stage zero.
