I just recently revamped my 1999 s70's suspension with ipd springs, bilstein tc's, new cv axles, new tie rod ends, control arms, ipd hd endlinks, strut bushings and mounts and i am having a horrible clunking when backing out of parking spaces. I have been able to simulate the noise when bouncing the car up and down on the drivers side. Also when the car is jacked up I can grab the springs and move them around by hand.

I am at wits end trying to figure out what is making this noise occur. Any ideas?

 

Are you springs seated properly? Is everything tightened down as far as it should be?

 

cross nut was loose, clunk gone.
