Default NEED HELP!!! 1999 s70

I'm getting my dad's s70. Sadly it's a stock model. It's not T5 no turbo..nothing. I'm on a strict budget but I fell in love with the car. i need to know what to put on it to fix it up. I was considering the ferrita exhaust from the ipdusa.com site. But i am unsure of the quality and pricing. I want to trick out the car but i need to know what to do with it. Please Help!

-ipd custom mesh grille

There's not a whole lot you can do on a strict budget.

Here's a list of aftermarket sites:

Default You can always try to trade...

If you clean the car up you can always try to trade. Find a turbo you like and would not mind owning, have yours detailed, sell yours and get the other one (turbo). Then start from there. I would not start adding mods to a stock model if you'd perfer a turbo.

1. Strict budget? What is that, like $100, $100 per day, $100 per week, $100 per month? What? Or is it $10,000? What I am getting at is, what is your actual budget?

2. Your N/A, your not going to gain much power. I would seriously stick with cosmetic mods and suspension mods.

3. If you do have to go with engine mods... Have a local muffler shop make you a custom catback system. 2.25"-2.5" piping to a baffled muffler such as a Flowmaster. You want back pressure in an N/A so a free flowing stright through design muffler like a Magnaflow wouldn't be ideal.

Also make a custom short ram and or cold air intake.

*You wont see much gains with either of these. Mostly just get a more aggressive note.

4. Cosmetic mods... Rims, Tint, E-code headlight lenses and turn signals or ABM Projector headlights and turn signals or the c70 Jewel headlights and turn signals. Also IPD/EST mesh grille or a 1998 XC eggcrate grille. EST (EuroSportTuning) headlight eyebrow kit, V70R front bumper, Lowering springs if yours isn't the AWD model. Just a few ideas for you.

5. Suspension... IPD USA sway bars, if your not AWD get lowering springs, shocks/struts, strut brace...

In any event your going to have to spend money to make your car the way you want it. Nothing is cheap, especially for Volvo's. We are not like Honda's where aftermarket parts can come cheap. Be aware of prices and that you don't have many options or places to choose from.

-Ipd USA
-EST (EuroSportTuning)
-Viva Performance
-Evolve

Just a few places to start looking for parts. Also the link in my signature has a mega list of other places, so take a look there too please.
