Default Just bought a 1999 S70; need some mechanical help

Hello and thank you for reading this. I justbought a 99 S70 for my daughter to drive. 24 hrs later I am having steam or anti freeze coming through the vents and that sweet antifreeze smell inside the car. However I am not leaking any coolant outside the vehicle but I am loosing coolant somewhere. Do I have a bad heater core and am I leaking inside under the floor carpeting?

Secondly; The dash board on this car is driving me crazy. It make a noise... like it's loose or something it's pretty constant and very loudwhile moving and subsides a little at high speeds 55 -75 mph.
Any suggestions on the fix for that?

Other than that I seem to like Volvo's. I've never owned one before but this car rides real nice... very smooth on the freeway. Nice car... I think.

Thanks

Vince

Geez, did you drive this car before you bought it???

Your heater core is gone.

It also sounds like you have at least one broken dash mounting clip.
