Need help with my 1998 s70
so here is the deal.... i just paid almost $1500.00 to have a new transmission put in to my car and for some reason the car wont stop leaking transmission fluid. I have had all of the external seals changed i.e. ( driver side axel seal, passenger side axel seal, and the torque converter seal) and i cant figure out where the leak is coming from. And its not a small leak... its more of a serious leak. A mechanic i talked to said it could be my torque converter going bad but i called another mechanic and he said he has never heard of that happening and hes been working with volvos for almost 40 years.
please help...... i am open to any suggestions and or ideas.
thx

If the transmission itself isn't the culprit I would look at the cooling lines or the cooler for the leak. It could have a small crack or one of the ends could have damage to the o-ring. Check the driver's side end of the radiator for both items. With the engine running.
My 2 cents.
