Need some advise
I have a 1998 Volvo s70 (The non turbo model, plan on putting one in) And want to get it as fast as I can,
1. How much hp can the stock block handle?
2. What do I need to do to surpass 15psi? (healthy without damaging the car)
3. any extra advise?

I don't think the block is your weak link - check out Boxpin's signature (frequent poster on the 850 board) where his 850 has dyno'd to 403 HP at the wheels. If you plan on going over 300 HP, you will want to have a manual transmission, and a limited slip differential (ie a Quaife). Getting past 15 PSI boost will require 1) a bigger turbo (ie 18T or 19T) 2) a ECU tune - check our ARD's web site as a good example 3) a 3" downpipe and possibly a free flow cat/exhaust 4) consider high pressure tubing and other turbo boost controller bits as recommended by a blueprint design.
Thank You! right now all I've done is put in a new air filter, and working on a new exhaust system right now. so far I only have a muffler delete and the exhaust pipe is cut off in the middle of the car. when Im done welding the system Ill install it. thank for your help. also being new to this forum, could you possibly send me a link to those websites?
