First of all this site is great!! Looks like everyone works hard at it!! I am the new Owner of a 1999 S70 GLT Turbo. I love the car it drives like a dream!! My only question is a question that I am sure you hear alot so sorry if this is annoying. I want to make the Turbo louder! I like that sound of a turbo when you hear it wind up and PSSSST. Whats the best way to go about getting that without spending a ton of cash. I am willing to sepnd some money but not like 5k and up like some people are looking to spend....Thank you for your help!! 3. Are you looking for more audible turbo spool? or the Phsssst sound?

4. If you slap an EST intake onto the car you will hear the turbo more.

5. If you add a BOV to the car you will hear the PSSSSHHHTT sound. But if your an automatic you will only hear it when you let off the gas and if your manual you will only hear it between shifts.

My Budget is about 1000 bucks right now....Less if I can.

The Phssst sound is something that I reallywant #1! but i would also like to hear the Spool.

I'll do a serch to see where I can buy an EST Intake..Also is there a like a certin type of BOV that i need to get I'm not sure if I there are more then one type. I do have an auto so I understand that.

Well to get an EST intake you buy it from http://www.eurosporttuning.com

As for the BOV any universial BOV will work. I reccomend the HKS SSQV. The Turbo XS Type H-RFL is known to leak.
