I have 99 volvo s70 and my alternator needs to be replaced at least all signs point to that. I am in a new city and don't have a mechanic that I trust here yet so I going to take it in tomorrow. My question is what kind of price should I expect from a mechanic to change this? I got the price of the alternator at auto zone. It is $335 with $100 rebate for bringing in the core. Any thoughts on how much I should expect for the labor? I don't want to be ripped off. Any advice would be much appreciated thanks!

 

335 for the alternator,look up ebay or any local electrical shop u,ll be looking at under $100.00
