Default Pcv system...

Hi...
How do you know when its time to replace pcv system?...how do you check if it need to be replace?...and if it need to be change what else is to replace once you doing that job because I have read that its a quite big of work Volvo s70 AWD... thanks...

If there is oil on the top of the engine, replace it (PCV system).
If there is vapor coming up the dipstick, replace it.
If you don't know when it was last replaced, replace it.

It's not that bad of a DIY job. Label the lines and take pix as you disassemble and you'll be fine.

Purchase the kit. Don't just replace the cannister.
