Default radio without antenna?

is there anyway easy way to rig the radio to work without the antenna going up? i like to listen to the radio, but i hate the look of the antenna up.

Been a while since I've worked on my antenna, but you need to get to the antenna motor, remove power wire.
If people can focus on your antenna you're not driving fast enough.

I put a switch on it so it doesn't go up and down every time I want to listed to mp3's, cassette or cd's.

I once had a GM EMF engineer as a prof in college; he worked on designing car radio antennas back when they were first starting to integrate them into the windshields.

He told us that the drag from a mast antenna was considerable at hwy speeds. That's why they were trying to put them in the windows...

i think that's why my wagon is so fast; no antenna to slow me down...
