Default S70 sun roof leak

Has anyone got any thoughts on a vure for a 2000 S 70 that has a slight leak on the sun roof on the driver's side.

My kid just called from college and told me about it and I'm 600 miles away.

Thanks in advance,

Paul G

Checkout the info in this thread http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=52360. I had this problem on one of my S70s last summer. I applied GE silicone 2 sealant under the rubber seal on the inner edge of the roof and it stopped the leak jsut fine. One year later it's still not leaking.

I use Holts Rubber and Nylon Lubricant on all the rubber seals. Itstops the rubber drying out and can put life back into seals that are leaking.

Make sure that the drains for the sunroof are not clogged. If they are then the tray that holds the assembly will fill with water and drip on the seats. The sunroof can actually leak quite a bit and still not drip if the drains are clear.
