Default S70 timing belt

I just bought my 1998 s70,it,s running great but the mileage is at 130,000 just to be safe I want to replace the timing belt ans tensioner and water pump, is it a must that I replace all 3? also anyone knows of a good VOLVO mechanic that will not kill me with the price in the Miami area,I reside in kendall,but I am willing to drive.

I am not 100% positve, but I think you can just replace the belt.

I am sure I can,but it seems that everyone else is replacing all 3 or 4 pulleys included

I would do the belt, pulley's and tensioner, but not the water pump.

any particular reasons,Y not the Water pump.

I am still looking for a good mechanic that can do this job for me own here in Miami,any references would be greatly appreciated.

Water pumps are not known to go bad very often on these cars is my only reason. Not saying they never go bad though. So if there is some sign that is needs replaced, do it.

Usually I replace the belt and tensioner and inspect the water pump. 3.0hrs labor

when i bought mine it had 135K miles on it. My dad checked it out and said it would be smart to replace all three just in case.
