I'm new here. I have a 1997 850 that Stalls as if running out of gas when warm only. It usually will restart only to die out again. If I let it sit a few minutes, it will start, but needs the accelerator to be held down to go anywhere. I have replaced the fuel filter. Any suggestions?

 

Get your codes out of the system. See what you get, MAF most likely. If you get ABS failure it can effect the Main puter as it is in front of the main puter on the CANBUS. My ABS puter works great when below 0. The computer when it kicks in and out will kick out my cruise control and make my car stutter when it does. I had a bad MAF and it did just what you said when it was warmer.

Don't buy cheap MAFS. Autozone and Checker MAFS will report failed most times even when new. They work alright but report errors. I got my last from eeuroparts.com for 150.00
