Default Suspension parts

Hello, new to the Forum, i have been looking for some good economical Struts and Shocks, and Lowering(drop) Springs for my Volvo S70. I found some DMA GoodPoint rear, and Monroe Sensa Trac for $190 shipped (4ebach springs $255). My question is, can i get them cheaper, are those good? that goes for the Drop springs aswell.

thanks

I put on the Monroe OEMSpectrum (for Euro cars) about 2 months ago on all 4 corners. I didnt use lowering springs, kept those stock. At first they were a lil stiff but have since turned out to be a very good ride. I bought them off of Ebay after shopping around for a long time and I even got a $75 rebate from Monroe since I bought all four at once. If I had the money, I would have rather gotten the Bilstein but my money went into replacing every component of the front end suspension instead. BTW, welcome to the forum!

Why is low cost the priority? If you're keeping the car, put some better quality than Monroe on it. Bilstein, Sachs, Boge, Koni is all I'd consider.

In my case, cost was a priority because I had so many other parts to replace in the front end plus I have a family to feed, so Monroe was just fine with me. I'm satisfied with my Monroe.

Why because i bought it as a comuter car, plus it is a non turbo automatic. I totally understand it, when you ask why. If it was a standard turbo model, then i would tune it.

The reason i am going with Monroe struts & shocks, is because ive heard reviews that they were better than Tokico, Bilstein, plus its the best bang for the buck.

My plan is to add those Monroes with H&R lowering springs, strut brace/tower, and maybe headers and exhaust

ill post pic on other thread...
