Question Tire Size ??

With a nice list of new owner issues moving towards completion, New Tires are Next.
Several folks on the Forums swear by Continental DWS (ExtremeContact), but they don't make the DWS in the 195-60R15 that comes with 2000 S70GLT. They do make a few others, such as ContiProContact, and I'm hearing that Hankook Optimos are pretty good....Any comments ?

But I'd really like a more touring comfort ride; I don't drive quite like I used to.
Perhaps a different size is in order; what will fit my OEM 15" wheels ??
Pep Boys' computer says that P205/65R15XL will be fine (at nearly $700 for a full set out the door), but they also say that the XC is just a different Trim Package for the 2000 S70GLT ......??
Hankook Optimo's are about $70 less, installed with alignment.

Will P205/65R15's fit on standard 15" 2000 S70GLT rims without problems ??

Question Put different size tires ??

Thanks for your reply to post on New Owners section, rspi.....
Original tire size is also in the Owner's Manual and the original window sticker...I had just wondered if XC's were supplied with different wheel offset/widths, and whether this would cause full-lock rubbing....It's funny; at maybe 3/4 lock, the steering wheel puts out like a torque oversteer feeling, like when accelerating out of a parking space....
An "EivlEvo" had posted, "Here's a good size calculator site...205/6015's are great on 240's and 7/9's." May I assume that 7/9's refers to 740/840/940, immediate predecessor to the "S" series ?? Can't assume same wheels OEM-supplied.

I'm hoping that slightly larger, like 205/65R15's might smooth out those roadway paving joints that new shocks didn't take care of, and minimize the torque oversteer thing.
BTW: 2000 S70GLT w/96k: $3900; put new Shocks, Struts, mounts, and spring seats; Timing belt and pulleys; serpentine belt and water pump; brakes, calipers, and hyd. lines. Oil, tranny fluid, brake fluid and coolant flush and replace. New ABM Projector Headlights (matching side marker lights enroute). (Found TYC (OEM) assemblies for $85 apiece, delivered, new, but with the original cross-hatched fresnel-like lens; sending 'em back)
Tires are current project; ReMan XeModex Throttle Body on deck. One radiator support ear is broken; hanging down 5/8", with tranny cooler line only 6" off the ground. Will get the line cleared first; new radiators found $100-250. Any comments on Aftermarket Aeon Imports ?? $100 brand-new radiator ??
Thanks for the help.
