Tire size on Titans (17's)?
They came with 205-45-17's, but can I use 215/45/17 without rubbing? My car isn't lowered and I don't plan on doing it, but from what I've read you can't go much bigger without rubbing when turning.
I went to tires.com and they said 215/45/17's would work and I ordered them for 2 reasons. Much cheaper than the 205/45/17's, and they are slightly bigger so I should get miniscule gains on highway MPG. Anyway a local tire place said they could get 225/45/17's, but I've read that people have rubbing issues even with tires as wide as 215. 215 was as wide as Tires.com said I should go. Anyway, they should be here Fri so I'll know for sure early next week.
