I have a 98 S70 with 120K. I bought it off the original owner. I know that the trans. fluid was never changed. I've read some bad stories about changing the auto. trans. fluid on a high mileage cars and the auto trans. died. The car runs and shifts great with lots of power .I've done a lot of work on the car. Any advice ?

I just did mine last week at 166,000. It had shifting issues and when stopping the motor would stall. Changing the fluid did wonders for the shifting. However I still had stalling and a bad idle. So I took the intake apart and cleaned the soot around the butterfly. Runs now like new!

 

Follow the video info. to a t. I changed the fluid 3 times. My car runs great and the trans. is shifting nice. YAHOO
