My 99 s70 currently has only 1 key. The previous owner had an astroflex remote start system installed, so i am led to believe a transponder was sacrificed for that...

so my question is, can a volvo dealer add another key without changing the code? i want the remote start to continue working, and i dont think the key that is
being used for it is easily accessible.

is it possible to have 3 active keys without changing the car's code?

 

Yes you should be able to get one more programmed without loosing the remote start.
