Are you talking about the Screen under the speedo or the one in the speedo?

Does yours have the screen but nothing there?

If so Then maybe program and switch to make it work.

Haven't ever done one but I think that is all that is missing.

Might be possible but not really sure.
I have never had to do one before.

Maybe ask the Local Dealer to see if they have done it before.

Hi S70ismyfriend,

i have a S40 2005 and i purchased a trip computer for it from http://www.myswedishparts.com/ with $21 and i installed it myself in less than 5min (very clear instructions); The trip computer (in my case it was special turn signal lever) has to be "activated" at the dealership and that thing alone costs about $160. A bit steep but i drove a volvo with trip computer and loved it.
