Trouble shooting help
Need some help. Today I was washing my '98 S70 and I opened my hood to spray everything down quick (oops). After I was done washing the car, I started it and pulled it into the garage. I waited a few hours, doing some stuff around the house, then went to go run some errands. I started it and drove down the street and turned around because I forgot something.
I left it running in the garage for about 5 minutes and when i pulled out to leave again, got to the end of the driveway, put it into drive and started down the street. I didn't get more than 20' when the car died. Up until this point, there were no signs of rough starts, rough idling, nothing.
If I try to crank it over, it will go for a few seconds, seem to lose all power than try to start again, without success. I'm guessing water got into somewhere and is maybe preventing flow in a vacuum line?
How do I fix this, if it is in case the problem. If it isn't the problem, any ideas on what it is? I pulled off my IAC valve, everything looked good. Put it back on, nothing changed. Please help

pulled all the plugs initially, no water, just tried to restart the car after disconnecting the MAF sensor. started right up, a few seconds later threw a CEL, I'm assuming from the MAF sensor being unplugged. Turned the car off and reconnected the MAF and tried to start it again. going to the parts store to reset the code and hope for the best. do I need to be worried about the MAF or was it prob just a "water" problem?
