The ventilation system on my car keeps switching from vent-inside to vent outside (orange to green) by itself. Also, when I start the car the orange lights for the AC and vent-inside blink on and off for a minute or two.

Not a huge problem, but rather annoying.

 

I believe something is wrong with the unit and that's it's way of letting you know. Get it checked out.

Have you had the cabin air filter changed lately?

No I changed it about a year ago.. actually it did it intermittently around that time. Are you saying the two might be connected?

 

Which unit? Are you saying there is a connection with the cabin filter. Replace about a year ago, looks OK.
