I got mine up to 110. But with 234,000 miles on it, I try not to drive it too hard... I also can't afford to lose my license. lol

 

like i said, I keep mine down. but that's because the first time I tried for any real speed I was stopped by the flashing lights in my rear view. clocked at 83 apparently (I'm glad he stopped me when he did because a couple of seconds more and I could have been looking at a REAL big ticket).

 

Fastest i have been in my 98 GLT was 130-135 mph slowed it down because the bumper of the car ahead wasn't looking like a good place to end up. Very smooth.... With cheap tires(not smart do NOT atempt). Have pushed my car to the limits on curves too had it ripping through local streets late at night racing witha few friends like fast and furious (also not smart do NOT attempt) had a hard curve on Plymouth road at about 90mph, 110 plus on light curves. Honestly i beat the living hell outa my GLT i love it to death and no matter what Volvo owner for life! Many people look at the S70 and say PSHHH i will stomp it... Like the Mustangs, Camaro's, Charger's and pretty much any factory V6 not turbo charged or supercharged.... The only car i have pulled up to recently that came close and beat me was a Saturn Ion Redline which i didnt get to look under his hood to see what additional he had done but by the way it drove it was tuned for sure. Just sayin VOLVO FOR LIFE!
