I got a code scanner today, had 3 codes, erased them to see what one were up to date. One of them was something to do with the trans (HA, that didn't come back, what a suprize just had the entire f'n trans rebuilt). But code P0156 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2) came back. Does this mean I have to replace the o2 sensor? And i'm only assuming here, but position 2 being the 2nd one down by the catalytic converter? Also, I just today figured out there is a little button on the left stick that hides/shows the service light, and MPG/AVG MPH/ETC, HA! How cool!. Well I then learned how to reset the error. One of the errors was Bulb Position Failure, I just erased that now, don't know if its gonna come back, and have no clue what it means. The other is my SRS Service Ergent, can I not reset this myself? I'm assuming i'm gonna have to bite the bullet on this one and take it to the dealer? Thanks guys, especially you TECH because i'm sure you'll be the first to respond .

 

The O2 sensor Bank 2 (Cylinder 4,5,6) sensor 2 (Rear o2 sensor car has 4 of them) Yes sensor is bad.

Bulb failure position light is a bad parking light.

SRS Dealer or someone that can read the SRS codes.

 

4!? Holy sheiza! Would that one be under the car, or behind the engine on/near the exhaust manifold?

 

The one you have the code for will be the rear one on the drivers side. Closest to the rear of the car.

 

Oh okay, is it like in the rear half of the car? Or you're just saying its furthest back? Most cars i've worked on with 2+ o2 sensors the furthes one back was near the catalytic converter, same with this car? I'm gonna try and crawl under there tomorrow and see how hard it would be to replace it.
