im wondering if anybody knows were the reciver for the remote is and would it be possable to relocate it to a better spot on the car becuse now i have to be at the door to unlock it and batt is brand new... kinda sucky in quartersize hail

 

Yes this would be nice to know mine is the same, I replaced the batteries in both of the fob's I have and they both have to be right up on the car to lock or unlock.

 

The receiver is the Rear veiw mirror.

 

WTF? So why am I experiancing a greatly diminished range with fresh batteries in the FOB? Do I just need to get a new FOB?

 

May be interferience from sonething else in the area.
