My 99 S-80 has an annoying little twitch right at 2000 rpm when it's in high gear. It jumps up and back 300 rpm. When you go above that range it's smooth sailing. It didn't do this till Volvo re-programmed the ETM for the recall. Also after the reprogram the idle surges some. What should I look at first?

 

id be looking at taking it back if all was ok before the recal !!

 

Also is it Turbo?

 

yes it's turbo

 

The throttle body might need cleaning. The vent system might need to be replaced/cleaned as well.
