Default 2000 S80 hard start!!!!!Need HELP

Hi,
I purchased last year (2010) a used 2000 S80 no turbo with 280000KM. The car had a hard start when purchased. After a few weeks I had to change the engine because it seized on me. Still having a hard time to start, the car will crank with lots of power and when it finally starts the cars like a new car with no issues. The car will have a hard start when cold or hot and would not make any difference. I have had every mechanic in town look at it and could not find any issue and or codes. I have had a mechanic re rout the electric cable and told me that it’s still doing the same. I have now burnt the starter and getting nowhere with this issue. I am afraid to even get gas because of not turning over. I have also noticed the RPM gauge jump to 6000 when cranking. Please someone help me.
Sorry for my spelling as I am French. Thank you in advance, John.
PS: I also found this in YouTube, my car does the same but it takes sometimes 8 to 9 tries. ‪2001 Volvo V70 T5 starting issues‬‏ - YouTube

Welcome to the Forum.

Did you have the engine rebuilt or is it a used engine?

Hello Andrew, thank you for your quick reply. The engine was used and told it had 180000KM.
