The parking brake engaged dash warning light only comes on if I jiggle the yellow wire connector attached to the sensor while the handbrake is engaged. Once I disengage the brake and then re-egage it, the light doesn't come back on unless I jiggle the connector again. I have already cleaned the connector and replaced the connector clip on the yellow wire. Seems to me that it's probably the sensor itself that is shorting. The sensor seems like a pain to replace...as in you have to replace the entire handbrake. Any experience with this?
