2000 S80 Remote entry programming

Can anyone tell me how to program a new remote entry fob on a 2000 S80 T6? Or do I have to go to the dealership?

Only Dealer can do it.

Can a used fob from anothe rvehicle be reprogrammed?
my dealer told me no

Only if you have the proper code numbers that came with the remote from brand new.

So then I can't buy a replacement remote on ebay, unless codes come with it, which I doubt they do?
