hello, i'm new to the forum, and really need help...

i have a 2000 s80, and it has been idle for about a year now. im not sure what is wrong with it but some of the signs are, 1.) the car just wont start, doesn't turn over, kinda makes a clicking noise right in front of the driver seat, and ever sometimes it doesn't make that sound. i turn the key, and the dash lights up and flickers but no noise. 2.) the battery keeps draining, and needs charged every time i go to work on it. on thing that was wrong with it before it wouldn't start at all was i had to turn the STC feature off, otherwise there was a grinding noise, and the car pulled to the right. im not quite sure what's wrong with it, and am getting really frustrated, because i don't want to tow it to the dealer if it is something i can fix myself for half the cost. i'm thinking it might be the ignition coil, as i read that that is usually something that goes on a Volvo. a couple other things... when i turn the key the timing belt is spinning, but again the car wont turn over. every time i turn it, about every light comes on, and the message says ABS needs service.

it's a really nic car, and would like to keep it, but find a way to fix it that would not cost loads of money. any help is greatly appreciated!!! thanks!!!
