2001 S80 Dies while idling

My S80 dies while idling, the fuel filter was replaced. Any suggestions?

Get diagnostics to pull codes.

Only speculating here...

I would lean towards a bad crank or cam sensor. Which in turn would throw the iginition timing off by means of the ECU. A code would help pin point this though.

Could be a dirty ETM. Easy fix. Does the idle fluctuate alot before it dies?
