Hi, I'm new to this forum and this might strike regular forumers as rude and I do apologize for my bluntness but I have a very very troubling question in mind.

I'm planning to buy a used 2007 S80 with 63k mi on the odometer and I have been trying very hard to get to know more about the issues that I might face after my purchase! I'm trying to decide if it's going to cost a boat load of money to maintain the car, say after 5k down the road, which is something I don't want to deal with (at least not so soon!).

Anyone out here with an 07 or 08 S80 that can help me out here please? Perhaps someone with 80k on the Od? How much have you spent in maintenance over the past year? I really don't mind having to fix things myself, but I hear the usual issues that Volvos have are its electrical system, the modules (and the modules are carries a hefty price tag!). How often has this happened with other 2007- S80 owners out there; have you had this problem yet?
