Trunk light not work when trunk opened, but brake lights come on when opened. Bulbs good.
Fix anyone?

 

Check the wires in your trunk, especially where they bend or go into the trunk lid. They can get damaged from opening and closing the trunk a lot.
Also, test the trunk switch and make sure it’s getting enough power and engaging correctly when the trunk is opened.
Plus, I’d check the trunk light relay and fuse.

 

Thanks Niklas for reply. I think switch ok as running light illuminate when trunk opened.
I can find no info on relays nor any indication from sources on fuse location.
Will look at all fuses in trunk, but hoping for any other experience in troubleshooting.
I think cable is OK but where is switch? Is it not the trunk lid lock?
