The AC lights are blinking and a diagnostic showed that it is an electrical junction box going to the fan. No air comes through. The problem would cost about $1500 to fix but the car also needs shocks and struts. Is it time for a requium for the car? It saddens me.

Do you mean blower motor resistor?
If so thats not $1500.00 to get fixed.

How close are you to Okeechobbe BVLD?

 

Thats where the dealer is. I'm close to it. The bottom line is that the ECM control unit is bad and the technition found wiring damage from control module to the cooling fan relay. ( What ever the heck all that means). Thanks for your input.

 

There is also a place on Military Trail just south of Okeechobee that used to work on Volvo's as well.
I forget the name of the shop. I believe they still work on them.
