Need to remove and replace alternator on a 2002 S80 T6 Volvo. The alternator will not charge the battery. Need to know if the alternator is a 120/140 amp.Will be doing the labor myself.What tool was used for the belt tensioner and how many bolts hold the alternator in place. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

 

It should tell you on the back of the Alt. which amp it is.
A 14MM for the tensioner for the serp. belt.

3 bolts hold the alt. in.
You also have to remove the power steering pump.
