Just bought an 02 s80. I'm new to volvos'. Serpentine belt blew due to a catastrophic failure with the tensioner bearing. I re-assembled and also disconnected the battery. The car now is idling rough and is dumping gas under throttle and also is severely lacking power. Tell me it's something like the CPS and not the timing belt jumping a loop. Has 110k on car but engine has junkyard paint numbers on it. Was told the timing was done but I looked and the belt is aged, cracked, and a bit loose. I paid 2400 for it. Put struts in and now the belt breaks. The. It runs like ****. I had an appt set Monday to get the heater core replaced also!
