so the message brake failure stop safely asap keeps appearing in my text window intermittantly. and i have no i idea what it is. if anyone can help thank you so much.

 

Have you checked your brake fluid level? Could be your ABS control unit. Can have it rebuilt, buy used from salvage yard, or new. Check other posts on this site for more info on rebuilding.

 

I would also suspect the ABS control unit.

 

If your brake pads are low it will cause the brake fuid level to drop and that message will show up.

 

Hey Bill, What kind of cold air intake do you have? What difference did you notice? I've been considering getting one. Hoping to get better mileage.

 

I built it from 3" pluming supplies bought at Home Depot. Not kidding. It gave the car a little more power and snap. The cool thing is that I can hear the blow off. It does cause you to hear some howl and droaning from the air going in, but I like it. I posted a thread with pics, I would attach them here if I could figure out how. total cost was about $25.00
